If Johnny Cash was still with us and played golf, this would have been his set of irons. Callaway just announced their new Rogue Pro Black irons, and we’re in love. These sexy clubs are finished in black, with black limited edition True Temper XP105 shafts and black Lamkin Z5 grips. Even the Callaway medallion in the cavity is black.
All the features you’ll see in the regular Rogue Pro irons are in these, including the 360 Face Cup + VFT for more ball speed, MIM’D Internal Standing Wave for optimal flight and control, and great feel with Urethane Microspheres, all in a players iron package. These irons are designed to appeal to better players with a compact head, thin topline, thin sole, shallow cavity and minimal offset. These design features increase workability, trajectory control and impact feedback. The lofts are slightly weaker than Rogue Standard for better gapping and distance control.
The Callaway Rogue Pro Black irons will go on sale June 8, 2018 and are custom order only at www.callawaygolf.com. Sets will be available in two configurations: 5-PW and 4-PW. Suggested retail price will be $825 and $1099, respectively. If you like black and want a playable iron for low handicappers, you won’t want to miss these.
OK, no more talk. Here are the pictures!
