Coming To America – Big Max Golf
Europe’s most owned golf push carts and #1 golf bag brand is coming to America. Big Max Golf is bringing their award-winning technology to the US market, with five designs showcasing two technologies – AQUA and DRI-LITE. Big Max golf bags arrived in stores last month to go along with their innovative push carts that we’ve already had for a little while.
AQUA
The AQUA line uses technology Big Max calls the DROP STOP system to guarantee the bags are 100% waterproof. Combining waterproof fabric with sealed seams and specially designed waterproof zippers from Japan, the AQUA line of golf bags carry a waterproof rating of 10,000mm*
*Hydrostatic testing of waterproof fabric gives a mm per 24 hours rating. This refers to the amount of rainfall a fabric can withstand in a single day. Thus, a 10,000mm waterproof rating means the garment can withstand 10,000mm of rainfall in a single day without letting moisture in.
Most other golf bags claim to be waterproof but are merely just water resistant compared to the Big Max AQUA line. The AQUA Sport 2 is the second generation of Big Max’s most successful cart bag. It has a 14-way, 9.5 inch top, full-length dividers, 7 pockets and an oversize putter well to accommodate bigger putter grips. Weighing in at just 5 pounds, the Sport 2 is light without being flimsy.
