Please join us on Tee to Green Radio this Sunday morning, October 25, 2009 at 10:00 am Eastern time to hear Jay and Jerry talk to me about Intothegrain.com and golf in general! This Sunday’s show will also have the following guests on:
YuChiang Cheng, CEO, World Golf Tour
Ricky Crawford, Glenlivet Whiskey Season Open
I look forward to being a guest on their show, it should be fun! As displayed on their website – www.teetogreenradio.com:
America’s longest running Network radio golf show, “Tee To Green” was the first show to take listeners into the World of Golf with tips on how to improve, visits to top resorts and courses, reviews of the latest equipment and intimate chats with Golf’s biggest names. “Tee to Green” originates from the five-star Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, home of the 1995 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2008 U.S. Senior Open and the 2011 U.S. Women’s Open.
Jay Ritchie began co-hosting Tee To Green in 1991 and started his solo hosting duties in 1999. During that time, he’s interviewed just about every big name in golf. He’s spent most of his career in broadcasting, doing news, sports and play-by-play of just about every sport, including golf. It only took about 25 years but he hopes he finally figured out a way to make a living talking about golf on the radio. His handicap is not finding enough time to play…but he talks a great game.
Jerry Butenhoff got his start in broadcasting in the early 80’s on a campus station while he was a student at UCLA. Eventually, he worked his way to Colorado Springs and The American Sports Radio Network, where he hosted the “Blue-Line Hockey Show.” After being a producer and contributor to “Tee To Green” in it’s infancy, Jerry re-joined the program in 2001. Like Jay, Jerry is an avid golfer, trying to lower his handicap and still looking for his first hole-in-one.
Listen to “Tee To Green” Sundays at 10am (Eastern) on SIRIUS Channel 122 and XM Channel 143. It can also be heard on radio stations nationwide on the Sports Byline Broadcast Network and worldwide in 177 countries on American Forces Radio.
