Get Trousered With Poulter This Christmas

Ian-PoulterGET TROUSERED WITH POULTER THIS CHRISTMAS

After we asked golfers to vote in our Golfer’s Hero of the Year poll, a staggering 100,000 of you voted for your favourite golfing personality of 2012! It will come as little surprise to many of you that the winner was – wait for it – Ian Poulter!

In fact, over 69,000 of you voted for Poults for his outstanding success this year. This success includes his win at WGC-HSBC Champions and most significantly the Ryder Cup in which Poulter almost single-handedly brought Team Europe back from the brink of what would have been a crushing defeat by the Americans.

One suspects that his popularity also stems from his remarkable dress sense, his playful demeanour and passionate style play too, with the Ryder Cup display surpassing much of what has ever previously happened on the fairways in terms of pure nail-biting excitement.

Ian Poulter is a true eccentric – a statement backed up by his dress sense – a symptom of the swagger in his step. ‘Poults’ can often be heard repeating the mantra of ‘look good, play good’.

In tribute to our yourgolftravel.com hero and with Christmas mere days away, we are giving away a free pair of Poulter-style trousers to add a touch of the famous bravado to your appearance, given to us courtesy of IJP Design. You are just time to take us up on this offer – all you need to do is buy a golfing holiday for four or more golfing pals in December 2012 – Get Trousered With Poulter this Christmas!

If you would like to take us up on this offer, get yourself and a few friends together and book now! All you need to do is follow a few simple steps…

Poults’ eccentric (he would say dapper) sartorial manner which fully reflects his playful and colourful personality. It was mum, who worked at women’s fashion store in Letchworth, Hertfordshire that inspired his love of clothes at an early age – before developing a passion for golf, and he wanted to work in clothes shop like his mum and later worked selling clothes on a market stall in Stevenage before turning pro as a golfer.

As a passionate fan of North London’s Arsenal FC, Poulter can often be seen donning the club’s red and white, even going so far as to wear the team’s shirt during a tournament, much to the consternation of the golfing authorities, who promptly outlawed the wearing of football jerseys at such event, in direct response.
