I agree with the ten tips but I believe that one more will make your cold day a little better. Most of our players have the three wheel cart that has the cup holder. We have a ceramic disc that attaches to a propane tank, the ones that go one the portable grills. This becomes a great hand warmer and it helps keep the balls warm, speaking of which, you shuld always keep a ball in your pocket to help it stay warm. Switch balls every hole.

Dave, they were Titleist Cart Mitts. They are like regular mitts, but have a flat that opens in the front to slide them up your arm so you can hit the shot, they you slide them back down to keep warm. They rock!

Nice Post John, why didn't you post this up BEFORE our round Saturday? I think my toes are still thawing out.. I can completely vouch for #2, #5 & #7! John had these toasty hand warmers (think he called them cart warmers) and they really did the trick, a lot better than my coat pockets.. Hands were completely numb by the fourth hole. He offered to let me use them for the rest of the round, but there are certain things that a man mustn't do.. One of them being, using another mans hand warmers.. :)

Dressing in layers was also another tip I could have used, I came out in a huge ski parka and like John said, had a total slap shot going, which of course did nothing to improve the day.. :)

I have a new found respect for those "northern" golfers who play in these temperatures..

These are words of wisdom. I am pretty much a wimp when it comes to the cold, but I had to brave the cold temps and hit a few balls today at the ringe. Layers were key, and the windshirt on the top layer was key to keeping somewhat warm. However, I thought that the middle and ring fingers of my right hand would never get feeling back in them after a few thin shots...
